Edificata nella seconda metà del secolo XVIII grazie alla presenza nella città di Avellino dei Padri Redentoristi di Napoli, la Chiesa ha subito nel corso dei secoli XIX e XX una serie di modifiche strutturali , l’ultima delle quali negli anni ’50 del secolo scorso.
Attualmente chiusa al culto attende che le autorità preposte (l’Ordine dei Padri Redentoristi di Napoli) decidano sulla sua futura sorte.

ST . ALFONSO MARIA DE 'LIGUORI’S CHURCH
It was built in the second half of the eighteenth century thanks to the presence in the town of Avellino of the Redemptorist Fathers of Naples, the Church has undergone during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries a number of structural modifications, the last one in year' 50 of last century.
Currently it is closed to cult and it expects the authorities (the Order of the Redemptorist Fathers of Naples) decide on its future fate.
