EDIFICIO DELL’EX GIL
L’edificio fu progettato nel 1933 dall’Architetto Enrico Del Debbio (Carrara 1891 – Roma 1973) - autore, tra l’altro dello Stadio dei Marmi al Foro Italico e del Palazzo della Farnesina a Roma – quale sede da destinare alla GIL (Gioventù Italiana del Littorio).
Dal dopoguerra, e sino al sisma del 23 Novembre del 1980 è stato adibito a Cinema.
Rientrato negli interventi del PICA Progetto Integrato Città di Avellino) a breve sarà restituito alla città dopo un laborioso intervento di restauro.
EX GIL BUILDING
The building was projected in 1933 at the architect Enrico Del Debbio (Carrara 1891 - Rome 1973) - author, besides of the Stadium of the Marbles to the Italic Hole and of the Building of the Farnesina in Rome - like center to be destined to the GIL (Italian Youth of the Littorio).
Since the postwar period, and until the earthquake of 23rd November 1980 it has been turned to Cinema.
It was reentered in the interventions of the PICA (Integrated Project of the City of Avellino) briefly it will be returned to the city after a hard-working intervention of restauration.
