Edificato nella seconda metà del XIX secolo fu destinato nel 1880 ad ospitare una delle prime scuole italiane di viticoltura ed enologia, antenata dell’attuale Istituto Agrario “Francesco de Sanctis”.

It was built in the second half of XIX century and it was destined in 1880 to entertain one of the first Italian schools of wine-growing and oenology, ancestress of the actual Agrarian Institute "Francesco de Sanctis."
